The orchids of genus Cattleya are native to tropical America.
They count 65 species, from which the orchid specialists all over the world created a mass of hybrids,
these orchids being rather easy
to cultivate.
The specialists try in vain, since the dawn of time, to create a cattleya hybrid of black colour.
