Grand-Rivière : fishing village

Besides the fishing at Miquelon, other methods are used : drifting lines, installed in the open sea, fishhook lines putted on a depth of 200 to 300 meters, wreckages or floating woods in surface and which attract the fishes. The return of the boats is a happy event and fishes are sold immediately at the market.
