Washing of the hands of bananas and treatment against the parasites
The hands of bananas are washed in running water, rinsed and receive a treatment against the parasites, which will facilitate their conservation during the transportation. To contend the attacks of parasitic bugs, the banana tree bunches are covered with polyethylene girdles.
