Megaskepasma Erythrochlamys belongs to the family of Acanthaceae, just as Alpinia and Shrimp Plant (Justicia brandegeeana). Its flourishes all year long. In Europe, it is possible to cultivate it under conservatory, veranda, and even in sun-exposed apartments.
