    The Union of the Comoros, in the past Islamic Federal Republic of the Comoros, groups together 3 islands of the Archipelago of the Comoros, Grande Comore (to the left on the card), Mohéli and Anjouan to the right. Country of Africa in the Indian Ocean, the Comoros are located near Madagascar. The Comoros claims the island of Mayotte and its dependencies, which forms a French department.
