Netherlands Antilles : Curacao

    Islands of the Dutch Antilles, Curacao is famous for the liqueur prepared with peels of bitter oranges (the bigarades) cultivated on the island and that carries the name of curacao. Main resources : sugar-cane and tobacco. Curacao, 444 sq km, 158.000 inh, is situated off the Venezuela.
