Satellite view of Motu One (Marquesas Islands)

    Motu One (Sand Island in Marquesan) is formed by two sandy islets which just emerge out of water in the northern Marquesas Islands. They shelter birds and sea turtles invisible on this satellite view. I make a plea so that a correct photo of these islets is taken before they disappear. The islets of Motu One and the coral reef around are protected by a natural reserve.
