    Tupai is a small atoll of 11 km2 located in about fifteen km north of Bora-Bora. In spite of the nice landing strip you can see (zoom in) in the northeast of the atoll, this one has not often visitors. Only 200 pigs and about fifty cats wander on the island, keeping company with the couple of keepers who watch over the place. In 2003, Gaston Flosse made construct on the atoll a 500.000 euro bungalow to welcome his old friend Jacques Chirac who did not come.
