The coconut palms of Grande Anse des Salines : the paradise under the Tropics


     Long of more than a kilometer, Grande Anse des Salines is edged of coconut palms, so much leaned that they seem wanting to soak their summit in the water. One sees often on post cards a coconut palm whith a local beauty lying down on its trunk, idyllic representation of the paradise under the Tropics.
